Crystal Coast Lady Cruises

The Crystal Coast Lady Fleet features the newest, largest and most comfortable cruising vessels on Beaufort's beautiful waterfront. On the Crystal Coast Lady you can enjoy the comfort of both enclosed and open air seating on the upper and lower decks, kids steering station, giant bow viewing area, as well as clean, modern on board restrooms. The Crystal Coast Lady is licensed for 150 passengers. Our newest additions, The Lookout Lady and The Shackleford Lady, can accommodate up to 49 passengers for smaller groups. The Lookout Lady will sail out of New Bern on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We'll be sailing from the Hilton Hotel at New Bern Grand Marina for 1 1/2 hour Trent River Scenic Cruises. See sites such as Millionare's Row, Nicholas Sparks' house, NC Governor Bev Perdue's house and much more. We are handicapped accessible and US Coast Guard Inspected. Our vessels are staffed with a knowledgeable and experienced crew and USCG Licensed Captains. We offer the longest and most comprehensive 15-mile fully narrated Wild Pony and Dolphin Scenic Tour where you can enjoy the beauty of North Carolina's Crystal Coast while experiencing sights such as Cape Lookout National seashore, Shackleford Banks, Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve, North Carolina State Port, Fort Macon State Park, US Coast Guard Station, Duke University Marine Lab on Pivers Island, Blackbeard's House, Beaufort and Morehead City Waterfronts, Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins, Wild Ponies, Bird Rookeries and many more types of wildlife and historic, notable landmarks. We offer a wide variety of public cruises & private charters including Treasure Hunting Excursions, Cape Lookout Excursions, Fishing Trips, and Dining Cruises. South Swell Surf Shop

Here at South Swell Surf Shop, we pride ourselves on our in-depth knowledge of the industry, local surf breaks and unmatched customer service. While we are a full service surf shop, we also offer Surfboard Rentals and Surf Lessons by the most qualified instructors on the island. In addition for those days when the surf is not up to par, we Rent Jamis Earth Cruisers so you can tour Emerald Isle. Eco friendly.

Calico Jack's Ferry and Shipstore

The Cape Lookout Ferry runs seven days a week, weather permitting, starting at 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. There is a convenience store on the premises where you will find Cape Lookout souvenirs, tackle, bait, T-shirts, drinks, snacks, sandwiches, etc.

Ahoy Boat Rentals

Services: Rental boats: 19' Carolina Skiffs with 70 hp 4-stroke engines & 23' Sweetwater Pontoons with 90hp 4-stroke engines. Serving as sun shade, all boats have bimini tops. Full or half day rentals available - 8 hours on a full day and 4 hours on the half day, either a.m. or p.m.

Thorough orientation to the local waters (Garmin charts) & boat operation provided. Recommended areas of interest include Cape Lookout, Shackleford Banks, Morehead City & Beaufort water fronts, Core Creek, Sugar Loaf Island, Carrot Island, etc. Fishing is allowed along with pets. Carolina Skiffs are equipped with 4 rod holders. All boats have swim ladders & equipment aboard is USCG certified. Boats are inspected daily for top performance! Reservations recommended.

Beaufort Historical Association

The Beaufort Historic Site allows you the opportunity to view Beaufort as it was many years ago. With the aid of guided tours of the historic homes, the Old Burying Ground, and preserved buildings, you will be able to imagine yourself living and working in this old seaport town. An authentic double-decker English bus will transport you through the historic district while a knowledgeable guide enlightens you with some of Beaufort's history. The Beaufort Historic Site's museum gift store is known as the Old Beaufort Shop. The special gifts, toys, and accessories that are sold here give visitors a taste of Beaufort's heritage that they can take home with them.
